Hi all,
I was recently given a pair of Phonak Milo Micro Plus that are relatively new by my uncle, who isn’t using them and didn’t want them. Does anyone know anything about these hearing aids?
Thank you.
BJ

I notice that nobody has replied yet - what exactly do you want to know about them? I think your question needs to be more specific.

They use the CORE platform which came before the SPICE and QUEST platforms. It can be programmed with two separate programs. It also has a slot where the can be activated. In that slot you have the option of straight telecoil or telecoil + microphone. An additional slot is available to add a mute setting if desired. In summary there are two programs plus additional slots for telecoil and mute settings. It is possible to program front and back microphones for noise reduction.
It was initially recommended to me as a good basic entry level hearing aid with plenty of “headroom” if my hearing continued to deteriorate. It is compatible with both a custom earmold and an . I’ve had mine for 2 1/2 years. My only issue is that there is no manual volume control. Since my purchase I have developed Eustachian tube dysfunction which causes my hearing to fluctuate. Consequently the absence of a manual volume control is a true disadvantage and I’m planning to purchase a new hearing aid when I can afford one.
If you search on the professional area of Phonak.com5 you can find the instruction manual and data sheets. Enter the model when doing your search on their site. Let me know if you are unsuccessful and I’ll do a search to be more specific on the search.

The hearing aid uses the CORE platform which came before the SPICE and QUEST platforms. It has the potential for two programs plus a slot for and a slot for mute. When activated you have the choice of straight telecoil or telecoil plus microphone. It has directional microphones that can be used for noise control. There is no manual volume control. It can use a custom earmold or open-fit.
It was recommended to me as a good basic entry level hearing with good “headroom” for increased needs down the road. Since I purchased it I have developed Eustachian tube dysfunction which causes my hearing to fluctuated day to day. The lack of a manual volume control has become a problem for me. Otherwise it has been a reliable hearing aid.
The instruction manual and data sheets are available at Phonak.com9 in the professional section of the site.
