I was fitted with a pair of Oticon Agil . There is no comparison between this new pair and my 5 year old set. The HAs sound great in noisey and normal situations.

When I change programs I was lead to believe that both sides would change but they don’t. My next followup appointment is next week. BTW they are ’s. I wonder if I’m getting what i paid for. :confused:

There is a setting that the audiologist needs to click to make sure the hearing aids will talk to each other. Just mention it to them and they should be able to fix it easily at your next visit.

Likely they had to disable the wireless features due to the shape/size of your ear.

All in all though, the Agil is a great hearing aid.

Yes I was amazed how much my hearing improved. I thought my older were still ok and was reluctant to spend all that money…but I’m glad I made the investment.

While browsing through the booklet my Agils came with it said…wireless feature does not apply to power intruments. This is probably what I have. I can’t find any information on that model. I am thinking of changing so I can get the model has the wireless feature.

Any suggestions?

I believe you will have to go to a inorder to get the wireless (Bluetooth) features you are looking for. With the BTE you can get a Streamer Pro or the old version of the Streamer and use it as a remote and for all other Bluetooth functions.

You can get wireless features with the so they must have had to make yours more of a for your ear shape. You should be able to either change to or have them make the custom aids larger to accommodate the wireless receiver.
