Today , picked the Marvel M90-312 and Audi programmed it to my settings. My voice is different than with OPN and it seems quieter(I also found myself to hear better when kicking the volume up for 2 notches while this is an early statement . I only have the AutoSense for now to test. While am at Audi office I found that the aid is always on AutoSense/calm (which as far as I know is lowering the gain) and later the day sound seems muffled.
BTW: we didn’t have time to do or add any programs and will carry this next Friday.
Had an issue of pairing to my IPHONE XR except as Bluetooth headphones. Failed to connect to either old app or new Myphonak. Did many trials and just now succeeded to have pairing with.
My first day trial I found:
-Sounds are not clear to My left ear(seems muffled) unless I increase volume then it some how fine. Right one is not so bad but still not clear(BTW: Audi set target to 90% of prescription)
- MyPhonak app only have Autosense 3.0.1 but I cannot open advanced setting as the icon always grey (not available). I also find that if I mute both aids in the App and then switch to phone home page or any other app, it unmute by itself.
- because of previous, I cannot creat program, cannot adjust bass/mid/treble, cannot change fixed/adaptive Bluetooth connections,…etc. Is the reason that maybe aids doesn’t have the 2.0 update.
- when j receive phone calls, surrounding voices are set to minimum but I cannot change.
- the aid seems to be forced to be in calm position.
- If I increase the volume to my left aid with myPhonak app, seems am in barrel and if I lower it seems my voice as am machinery voice.
- when answers phone calls from phone, audio goes direct to phone but if I push on the aid , volume goes to aid! This is strange as it should act as a normal headphone?
Can some advise .! I have big hopes that Marvel can work in better way than OPN (specially feedback and warbling)
Am scheduled to meet my Audi again on Friday but not sure.
