I still don’t know what the iN means.
The iN has the license so once you get the license installed in your Marvels, you can buy a second transmitter from eBay.

No, the license is free. That is a good thing because you won’t have any money left after buying the IN.

Well yes you do pay for the license/RogerDirect by paying for the iN device.
You can either buy 2 x Roger X and a normal Roger Select or just buy the Roger Select iN device.

Today i have picked up the package with 2 x-receiver one Normal Roger select and one Programming device.
For me it have the adventage that i can also use the X-Receivers together with my compilot II and not only the Marvels.
BTW i have not received the Marvels yet they hopefully will arrive next week.
So i use till i get them my Ventures with the compilote and roger select.
I think it is more versatile this way.Thats why i have spend more for this package than i would have to for the iN Type. Wich is not even available here.
Actually the cheapest Roger select iN i found in Germany for less than 1000 Euros.
It is strange that in UK they ask much more the cheapest i seen there was 1350 British Pound

I’ve been told the Roger Xs will be useless once installed in to your Marvels but that might be wrong.

Of course they will get useless when you transfer it in to Marvel.
But you can also transfer it back in to the X-Receiver from the Marvels.
That mean that for what reason ever i change MY to one other brand or send it in for repair i can transfer the License forward and also back.
This way i am not limited to Marvel only. The iN series they limit you to Marvel only

Once you have the receiver license on the Marvels you can connect any Roger device to the Marvels. Exeption are the Touch mic which need 02 Receivers i dont know if on the marvels can coexist 03 license and 02 license at the same time.
