I am my husband’s tech support.
He has (and has had) KS 9.0 hearing aids, and an iPhone SE (original, not new version).
He recently took his iphone in for battery replacement and they replaced the phone, instead (expected this). Everything was restored from the old phone to the new phone from iTunes backup.
His right hearing aid is repaired and connected to the new phone.
His left hearing aid simply refuses to do the same. It’s not seen by the phone at all. I’ve put in a new battery (though it already had a good battery, as I swapped batteries between hearing aids and the right still worked).
I have restarted the phone, removed the battery - everything but updated the iOS software because – really – why would I have to do this?
What is the solution when one hearing aid will pair but the other will not? We have an important doctor appointment tomorrow, and I really want him to be able to wear and control his hearing aids (he doesn’t do well with the buttons on the aids, themselves).
Any tips?
