Hi all,

I have found this forum and decided to join in lack of support.

I have purchased a dev kit from on semi for one of their dsp chips. In order to get it to work it needs a hipro interface which I have been able to source from a friend in audiology.

I need the latest drivers - as per On Semi - version 4.02. I have been able to find an older version online but it does not appear to function correctly with the software.

I have also contacted otometrics and they said that they do not have drivers for such an old device. The one that I got says HIPRO USB on it and connects to the PC over USB.

Evros

Hi,

Well thank you very much sir. I have been able to install this and the connection to the dev kit then became possible.

It is still an older driver and not the suggested one but I have yet to discover where the functionality is limited.

Thanks again. This is a step forward.

Regards,
Evros

The original is installed when you plug the HiPro in, what makes you think you need I, what’s happening?

Welcome to the forum, you don’t actually need the “software” as HiPro is plug and play, I wonder why you brought this old stuff, what are you using?

I got Oticon Ruby, resound lynx, opn s hearing aid, i would like to learn how to reprogram my own instrument, I bought those hi pro usb from someone in our local area, actually that that 3 units, 1 hi pro noah compatible, 1 hi pro, & 1 hi pro usb all for 50$ with all programming cable for phonak hearing aids.
Your reply very much appreciated, thank you so much

Oh okay, if you got everything including those cables and all you’ll be good to go for Phonak, just remember you’ll need the CS44 cables for Oticon and ReSound, the Phonak CS44A won’t work, you could if you wanted to go wireless programming with the Noahlink wireless programming device.

Thank you for supporting newbie like me. By the way i dont need all these cables stuff for Phonak hearing aids , all my hearing aids are Oticon, would follow your recommendation.
If someone here needs programming cables for Phomak i’m willing to share for free.
