Hello! I have a pair of Oticon Real 2 hearing aids arriving any day now. I will need to reprogram them. Will I need the Nohalink Wireless and Genie 2 software? Could I please get a link to that software?

Hi everyone!

I’m from Brazil, and a friend of mine is planning to bring an Oticon Jet 2 MiniRite C090 (here’s the link she sent me Oticon Jet miniRITE2 ) from Germany for her aunt, who lives here. Apparently, this model hasn’t been released in Brazil.

Does anyone know which software version is required for its fitting? Also, does anyone know when this model was released and whether the receiver is the same as the Oticon More/Real?

I currently have Genie 2 (2020.1), but the Jet 2 model doesn’t appear on the list of products.

The Oticon Jet miniRITE hearing aid was launched in Germany in the first quarter of 2023.

It was part of the new “Real” platform (which also included the Real 1 and Real 2 models) that Oticon introduced to the German market starting in January 2023.

To give you a broader timeline:

• Global Launch: The Oticon Jet miniRITE was first announced and released in the United States in September 2022.

• European/German Launch: Following the typical rollout pattern, it then became available across Europe, including Germany, in early 2023 (Q1).

The Jet miniRITE was particularly marketed for its discreet size, built-in rechargeability, and compatibility with the new Oticon Real platform’s Deep Neural Network technology.
