Phonak L90 Match Custom Program With Calm Settings

I have some new L90 hearing aids from the . Here is the issue. I liked the adjustment on my older hearing aids. I could here more soft sounds such as insects, fan noise, etc. I was upgraded to the L90’s recently and for some reason, the VA can’t get them to my satisfaction. I can create a custom program in the app which I really like but when I go into Target and try and match that with the calm setting under Autosense, I can’t get it to match. Any ideas? Thanks.

Set up a separate program outside of “autosense” and see if you can get it working that way.

Can you explain what you mean by cutting the highs.

My music program seems to increase the lows but keep all the other frequencies the same.

Weirdly tho, my AutoSense has never gone into the music part of it. Maybe because I’m not close enough to any live music or even music coming from speakers.

My music program “seems” to give me the full spectrum of frequencies, in 360⁰. If I switch to others (or use autosense), the top end seem to cut, especially if in a setting designed to cut background noise. In actual live music, these P90’s are useless. At the last gig I attended, I used my old 2015 Spice+ NHS with domes :slight_smile:

Do you mean you’re hearing 360?

That’ll be the way the Mic is set up just above NoiseBlock etc?

You can charge them manually from the ‘recommended’.

Yes, I’ve changed it to omnidirectional on all my settings. Time will tell, on how it interacts with RogerOn & Roger Select

Thanks for your suggestions. I created a custom program in Target copied off music and set it for startup. It is still not a good match for my app created custom setting but I think I am making some progress and will continue to play with this. Target seems to run real slow on my laptop so it gets frustratingly slow.
