Really? Thought Rexton will be -enabled in 2027. How did you search for the Auracast audio source from Floogoo?

Hi PhoebeY!
There a couple of streams on this forum that discuss getting Auracast to work with Rexton and other hearing aids. Use my ID or Ranson 's to search for an exact procedure using the FLOOGOO FMA120.
Ranson is an employee [or owns?] the firm that makes and sell the FMA120 transceiver. I’m just a wearer. I have connected the FMA dongle to my PC to broadcast Auracast (that uses the transmit side of the transceiver). And since my Rexton BiCores (which are now my backups) do not receive Auracast by themselves, I used a second FMA… with a USB A to USB C adapter hooked to my Samsung Galaxy S23 FE phone to receive the Auracast broadcast (the receive side of the second transceiver).
When the PC broadcasts the Auracast program, you open the FLOOCAST APP (there is a theme here) on the phone. You click on the broadcast icon and since your phone was connected to your non-Auracast capable HAs by Rexton’s own APP, “sorta semi-automagically” you hear the broadcast in your ears.
If you have access to a broadcast, you do not need two FMA120s. You only need one. I bought 2 to be able to test the process for use in square dancing.
Good luck.

do the resound ReSound Nexia 675 HP support bluetooth classic (dual-radio)? i have some bluetooth classic devices and want to be able to connect to them

Sorry. I don’t own Nexia. But if your device has the ability to connect a USB C OR USB micro device, you may be able to connect an FMA120 to receive broadcasts. It’s a $50 US Bet plus the cost of the USB A TO C or Mini.
Cordially,
KP

No, only AHSA, and LEA Bluetooth.
do the resound ReSound Nexia BTE 675 HP support bluetooth classic

If I’m not mistaken, uses , and is there an adapter that can convert Bluetooth Classic to BLE (USB-C/ aux) to be able to use with a record player (aux), tv (optical) (converter that can take aux/optical input) to be able to plug into every single bluetooth classic devices as needed? FYI the bluetooth classic devices are galaxy s22u/tab s5e, record player and samsung tv

If I’m not mistaken, ASHA uses BLE
But only with android phone as far as I know, like I don’t know if there’s a dongle I’ve not heard of any “converter” as such, seems to me just getting ReSound Unite TV Streamer 2 is your answer.

You can use one FMA120 in relay mode (classic A2DP → ). If your hearing aids do not support Auracast natively, you can then use another FMA120/121 in Auracast receiver mode to receive the broadcast.
Technically, the FMA120 in relay mode upgrades a classic Bluetooth transmitter to Auracast, while an FMA120/121 in receiver mode adds Auracast capability to legacy hearing aids that only support /.
Many TVs that only provide an optical output also support Bluetooth headphones. In that case, you can simply load the relay-mode firmware onto an FMA120 and pair it with the TV just like a Bluetooth headset. The FMA120 will then broadcast the audio wirelessly via Auracast. After pairing, there’s no need to plug the FMA120 into a PC or the TV—just power it with any USB charger, and it will begin broadcasting automatically whenever the TV connects to it over Bluetooth. Regarding latency: since a…
First, I’d like to thank @d_Wooluf for introducing our FMA120 as an Auracast and LE Audio transmitter last year. Without that introduction, we might never have discovered this wonderful place to connect directly with our customers. Since we launched the FlooGoo FMA120 in November 2023 on Amazon, we’ve received tremendous feedback from early adopters of LE Audio and Auracast, especially from the hearing aid community. As with any new technology, Auracast faces some compatibility challenges, an…

I do not understand the term “slide” when used with electronics.
-
if you read the FMA120 topic I wrote on using it, it discusses the use with an android (Samsung) phone and an FMA120 (the fma121 would work with a 1/8” banana plug ) to receive.
Sorry I can’t diagnose your situation.

The ReSound Unite TV Streamer 2 is your answer as it has AUX input, the problem is its very expensive compared to the dongles mentioned.

I just bought a Avantree Voyager from Amazon ($79.95) and hooked it up via Aurcast to my Jabra Enhanced Select 500’s via my Samsung S24 FE. I am using a homebuilt test microphone to connect to the Avantree via its 3.5 mm plug. It works, although the setup procedure could have been more explict. I now will build another version.
Why am I doing this? I’m an electrical engineer and have noted that the weak point of the Jabra’s is that moisture will reduce their microphone efficiency after a few months. Changing Mic. filers helps, but they have still required return/replace several times. (This seems to be a common problem with electret condensor mics.) They are great HA’s and I wanted an alternate method to bypass their weak link.

Really interesting approach—makes total sense to bypass the mic limitation that way.
We’re also exploring similar ideas: using assistive listening devices on demand (e.g., at counters or in noisy environments) instead of relying on hearing aids 24/7.
If you’re curious, here’s what we’re working on:

Would love to hear how your next version performs.
