Do you know what the serial number of your hearing aid is?

If you recently bought a hearing aid that offers a loss replacement, you may want to write down your serial number of your hearing aid. I bought my Siemens Centra sp Hearing aid last year. a few weeks ago I lost my hearing aid. When I tried to get a replacement aid utilizing the so called replacement warranty, the place that sold me the aid asked me for the serial number of the aid. I said, “you sold it to me don’t you have it”. The laughter was so loud …( me laughing at my own stupidity)

I had two other Audi’s call Siemens, they said they had no record of my having that aid due to the Audi not registering it. They only had records of my other hearing aids.

Nevertheless write down your serial numbers someplace safe.

Well, considering the hearing aid would be in my stomach and not my ear, I wouldn’t hear it! Thank goodness. I wonder if it would whistle and squeal enough to make dogs come running? :stuck_out_tongue:

Has anybody looked on the sales receipt / acceptance form for the aids??? I know that my serial numbers are recorded on there … now if I can only find that receipt again I could tell you the numbers.

The serial number was on the Card board box that my aid came in, nevertheless I recycled the box. I am trying out the Nadia V UP , so I had the Centra SP aid in my pocket as a back up aid. I still cannot believe I lost it.

I called the guy and asked about the status of the replacement aid , he Said," Siemens takes 10-30 days to process the claim. I’ll contact them and see if I can rush them"

one of the hearing aid fitters, that I showed the aid to had the serial number for the lost aid. Hopefully now I can get a replacement aid

John, your Hearing Aid Specialist can look on NOAH very easily and look at your fitting. It has the serial number there.
