Fitting for Infinio Sphere

I got the Phonak Infinio Sphere! I visited the audiologist two days ago, but I noticed that the Spheric program isn’t showing in the MyPhonak app’s loud program. I have access to Target, so I’m trying to adjust the fitting myself. Where should I click to activate the Spheric program? Also, I’m concerned that my audiologist might find out if I made adjustments at home. If I connect the hearing aids to Target, will the audiologist be able to tell that I used it? Also , I realized that I can adjust to reduce background. Is it similar with target ? Or is target better to adjust than app?

This is why I prefer self programming. Much easier to do a direct comparison. I’m not in the market for Spheres, but it would be interesting to compare.

Exactly. What I am beginning to like in Target software is the possibility to listen to multiple sound samples immediately after making adjustments.

Having the option to select ring in phone or ring in aids would be nice. My novas ring in my aids and that’s fine for me.
I’m not sure if the spheres could be set to do both. I wonder if there is an issue of phone compatibility. The spheres use one Bluetooth connection for phone & streaming and a separate connection for the app. Not sure if that’s why the phone rang but not the aids.

I have oticon hearing aids.

So I am restarting this thread as I started a new trial of Infinio Spheres with a different audiologist who was recommended via this forum and who seems very competent. However, I am having the same problem as before with incoming calls on my Motorola Edge 40 Neo. I don’t get any ring tone in the aids, only on the phone or on my watch. I tried disabling the watch without success. I can answer the call with the button on the aids and all works well thereafter. Any suggestions most welcome. My audiologist is going to contact Phonak. Having to change my phone would be a pain. Has anyone else experienced this with any Android phone?

Glad you got it sorted. I have numerous Phonak HAs and all ok them give me an a tone with incoming calls. I’ve never noted whether the Bluetooth volume is up or not. My ringtone on my Samsung phone is nearly always on silent. I find the Bluetooth works the same with my Marvel, Paradise and Lumity HAs

Thanks Peter. I’d like to keep my phone on silent but will settle for having it on quiet rather than shelling out for a new phone. The spheres are going to se me back £4k if I decide to keep them so prefer not to have to replace a perfectly good nearly new phone. After 24 hours of trialling the spheres I’m pleased with their performance but how they work in a group situation I am yet to test.

That’s the big situation. I’d have Sphere added as an additional programme, then you’ll find it easier to experiment with it in the app

Yes, I’ve done that. Will test at the golf club this weekend. But thus far I’m impressed with the clarity of sound I’m getting especially when listening to music through my system’s speakers.
