Sorry - I didn’t pick up on one crucial bit of detail from your post.
@glucas
Well sorry to be unclear in so far for you.
The forum is full of information about the Roger’s and its licenses, how to get them and how to install. In how far responders first tried to inform themselves by reading posts already placed here I do not/ I can not know. And you joint long before me in 2009 as is visible in your profile. So I was in the (wrong?) assumption you would know already a lot about this.
If you buy the Roger IN (on EBay, your or where ever), which is the easiest way to transfer licenses you get two licenses on this device when they are new. If you buy it second hand licenses maybe missing. There exists a possibility to make from your 2 licenses max 10 licenses by the upgrade trick. (Also on the discussions elswhere on the forum).
Same for the Roger table device IN. “IN” means receiver included.
To make it a bit more complicated; in former years other more complicated transfer methods were used for instance with the shoes and installer. The connection with a T- coil and a T- link is also not common anymore and was used before the invention of th direct coupling methods. (Of course is still used and available as a product before the Roger ready was used by Phonak.
If and as @TBOX now choose to go his way by buying the Roger ON and has ’s Roger ready but without licenses installed, he or she now has to install the licenses as without installed licenses in his aids it won’t work. It’s as easy as that. This was also discussed in his OP.
Sorry, I hope this makes it a bit more clearer to you.
