Others connecting to my Bluetooth hearing aids

I have Phonak Audeo L90-RL hearing aids. They allow anyone to connect to my hearing aids. Some idiot recently blasted my ears with LOUD music. They thought it was funny.

I need to not allow that to happen.

If someone did that to me it would be the last time they did that to anyone.
But it must unique to the classic Bluetooth Phonak protocol.

ReSound warns you every time you boot that your connection is insecure for a few minutes. I don’t have much experience with Phonak yet. With the ReSound Smart 3D app, I think you’d be able to tell from the various connectivity displays and the active program display whether someone has stolen a connection. ReSound also has a maximum streaming volume limit setting. Just for hearing safety, I’ve chosen a max streaming output of 75 . So, you could ask your to do that so you can guard against any future incidents. Try not to reboot your HAs in public. I think your HCP could also look for any devices your HAs have been paired with. For ReSound, the MultiMic, the TV Streamer 2, and the PhoneClip Plus, and my iPhone all show up in Smart Fit even when I’m not connected to them and my HAs are not turned on (memory may be a little faulty here).

I have found that my hearing aids are discoverable all the time. This will get me into trouble. My hearing aids help me greatly. In today’s rude world, where folks believe they can do anything to anyone with out repercussions, I will go to jail.
