Replacing Phonak ActiveVent receivers

I appreciate all the responses. I do have M level receivers. My audiogram shows decent lower frequency hearing, not so good in the higher frequencies. As far as improvement over my Powerdomes, if I stick my fingers in my ears completely blocking off all outside sound, the voices are a lot clearer even in calm environments. Would this indicate my Powerdomes are not properly fitted or should they not completely block all outside sound. Would AVs provide this similar occlusion in noisy environments?

They close when it is “Spheric speech in loud noise” and when you are streaming: BT, Roger or other mic, TV connector, etc.

They are open otherwise, even “Speech in noise.”

It won’t block it off in calm environments when you are listening to your surroundings.

ActiveVents are targeted for people who can use open domes but struggle with speech in noisy environments. @Bimodal_user posted the fitting range. Those could be ideal for me if I had some premium Phonak HAs

I’d like to try Activents and wa thinking of ordering a pair of Activevents online since they’re at least half the price as those sold locally. Would the Activevent size be equivalent to my M receiver? And second, with the slim tip earpiece, it asks for shape (A, B, C, D). Does this correlate any way to small, medium or large in vented or powerdomes? With so many variables here, I’m wondering if I’d be better off getting some locally and bite bullet and then going online if I need to replace them as needed. Comments appreciated.
