Android 15 Audio problems?

Anyone else noticing or having oddball issues when streaming to their , sound becoming broken or dropping out? The is steady, but it seems the Android audio routing is wonky… or it could just be that apps have yet to be updated to be fully 15 compatible.

Hm. I’m on Android 14 with my Samsung Galaxy Flip-4 cell phone. Did you download V15 yourself or did it come with the routine “software update” action?

I ask cuz my hubs is absolutely fanatical about running the software updates on our cell phones, but if that action causes V15 to replace V14 on my phone I don’t know if I’d want to go there.

So far (unless I just jinxed it) V14 on my Android phone is ROCK STEADY! I never have issues with its being paired + connected and flawless streaming with my Phonak Lumity Life aids - even if the phone is physically in a different room or on a different floor in the house. ROCK STEADY.

Pretty sure Android 15 is only available on Pixel phones currently. Probably won’t be on Samsung phones until after the first of 2025.

The beta is coming to Samsung S24 and S23 around the end of November. I installed the Beta for Android 14 last year but don’t plan on run the beta this year. My phone and aids are rock solid and don’t want to take a chance.

Using a Pixel 7, just got 15 as an update.

Yes, 14 was rock solid, reliable no issues. So whether this issue is the new OS or the apps having to catch-up will determine if you should stay off 15 for now, when it does come up for your Samsung. Knowing Samsung, it likely to be soon. They might even catch and fix whether is going on for their 15 update!

Just got Android 15 on my Pixel 8. Rock solid, no issues. My Philips 9050 pair perfectly with my phone. TV connector as a separate program on Hearlink operates just fine.

Will all the feedback, and more working with it, I’m thinking it’s an app or two not working/playing nice with a change to the A15 routing.
