For me, the solution doesn’t work. Once you pair to the phone itself first and you try open the app only after, the app request a fresh installation of your . And it can’t detect unless you unpair and the looping problem repeat again.

Thank you - I called Widex tech support last week. The issues I shared/worked through on the phone were new to the tech. Every suggested fix mentioned in these threads were tried with not successful connection to app, despite connecting to the USB Connect device. The Widex tech indicated the lack of response between & app was new given the multiple attempts & order of actions (Bluetooth off/on, uninstall-reinstall, etc) we tried. We even successfully connected to an iPhone as a test. Bottom line was no app connection for my situation. I am going to try Assist device for work. Again thanks for the responses.

With pixel 8 pro everything is a problem, with Samsung s25 ultra it works well with android 15

Seems like s25+ have issue but s25 ultra no issue? Their android 15 version is different or the security patch? May I know what is the Google security patch date on your Samsung ultra?

Back again as the Pixel 8a rebooted and moment cannot recognize the hearing aids anymore.
Widex support recognized the issue and said a fix will be deployed over google play eventually. Not sure when, but apparently Widex is aware of the issue.
Hopefully it can be resolved soon.
I have confirmed that using an old Apple phone still works (it’s not a fair comparison as it’s a pretty old device). The one benefit of the Apple products is that hearing aid sensitivity control seems to be built into the Apple devices and doesn’t require the Widex app. Unfortunately Android support seems to rely on the app, which is unfortunate. Not sure who the culprit is, but it’s overall a disappointing experience.

Just got email wit advertisement for WIDEX. - Several pages into the web site, they mention that WIDEX App for Android will not be updated! For a company in the business, this is just not an indication of good customer support. Glad you found an answer. But, why does it take this much time and effort - fustration?

That sounds unfortunate. I didn’t see anything mentioned on this site: https://www.widex.com/en-us/hearing-aids/apps/moment-app/13. It suggests the latest version is 1.6 - the fact they list it there could be good if it’s actually updated.
I checked the play store Looks like the app was updated on May 20th 2025, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widex.pa&hl=en_US14
I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but there are reviews reporting the same issue in April.

How do you get the phone to “forget” the pairing? I can’t see how to do this. I’m on Android 13, maybe that’s why. Apparently my phone can’t upgrade to 15.
