Hi all - I’m new to and the Resound Smartfit software, and I wanted to double-check that I’m setting things up correctly. My goal is to create a copy of the fitting done by the audiologist, so that I can safely play around with certain settings on the copy while preserving the original setting so that I can return to it after I mess things up!
I’ve tried creating a new patient in the software, then connecting the hearing aids via Noahlink Wireless. The software sees the hearing aids, and I select the option to use the previously loaded into the and the option to “read instrument data.” I can now see the settings that the audiologist has applied. I can make changes, and have the option to save those changes (which I have not done!)
Am I correct that I should in fact set up TWO new patients, and then save the existing settings to both patients? I assume by doing this I can keep the settings for Patient #1 untouched, and that playing around with the settings for Patient #2 will leave the original settings (Patient #1) unchanged? Or is there a better way to do what I’m trying to accomplish?
