Whenever I turn off or charge my Rexton Reaches, the volume and balance settings I have set up get reset. Is there any way the audiologist can set a flag in the Connex programming software to instead save my last settings so that I don’t have to go in and re-tweak them each time I power on the hearing aids?
Thanks. I saw in the Connex software that the audiologist can at least store the app’s volume and balance offsets one likes so that they come each time you power on the hearing aid. Not quite what I wanted, but better than nothing.
I’ve had my Rexton Reach for over a year and each time I take them out of the charger they have been set to the Automatic Program with Volume and Balance settings at the default 0 setting, (which, as I understand it, is the intended behavior of the app/HAs)… UNTIL this last week! Suddenly, they are at my last setting, which has been Television and Balance at about -3. I figured it was the app being balky as mine most of the time is rather unresponsive. I can poke and the program won’t change. I can poke Balance and try to get the setting off 0 and it will take me a literal minute to get a response. Many times I’ve done a Force Stop of the Rexton app and/or restarted my Pixel 8 phone. Those usually get the app to work. Suddenly this week even Force Stop or restarting the phone will not get the app to show Automatic Program and 0 Volume/Balance settings after charging. It’s entirely crazy and figure I’ll talk to the Costco fitters at my local Costco and try to figure out what’s up. I think my next HAs are NOT going to be Rextons. The app is supposed to be good but it drives me nuts.
