P70-UP getting low voltage beeps

I was getting low voltage beeps every day. I have a Redux home version dryer and put the aids in the dryer and hearing aid keeps beeping. My hearing aids doesn’t beep when used with the TV Connector. I found that the new 675 batteries are draining faster when my aids are connected to my desktop computer which has Bluetooth. I solved the issue by buying a 3.5 mm audio to Toslink adapter which is connected to the TV Connector. If you have aids connected to your desktop or laptop computer, it might drain your hearing aid battery.
Also l don’t get any beeping when my aids are connected to my smartphone.
My desktop computer and PS5 console are connected to my monitor. The audio from my monitor goes to the Toslink adapter which converts 3.5 mm audio into digital audio optical output to the TV Connector.

Thanks for all the tips here! I also pop my battery and rechargeable aids into a Redux unit for removing moisture. But I always remove the battery and turn the aids OFF before putting them in the Redux - perhaps a moot point?

I totally agree that having my aids paired + connected to more than just the CELL PHONE seems to drain them faster. So I just keep the set to OFF on my MacBook Pro laptop. Only in rare instances if I want to stream a Youtube or news do I turn BT on, and then I have to manually select the aids I’m wearing in order to re-connect them.

I have all my aids paired + connected to the Roger V2, and that can also result in faster battery drain. I seem to get exactly 5.5 days of 312 battery use and about 17 hrs per day of rechargeable use wearing Phonak Lumity Life aids (312 & rechargeable).

I watch YouTube everyday on my TV connected to my TV Connector. I have a digital audio optical splitter with switcher to switch between the TV or Computer/Console so l avoid using Bluetooth in desktop that will drain my 675 batteries.

Ah that works if YOU control what’s being watched on the TV, LOL! In my house, hubs has the TV controller firmly in-hand, and so I just sit at my laptop with Youtube when I want to watch something only I’m interested in. :slightly_smiling_face:
