I’d say so, try the tv connecter from Phonak, the Google Chromecast is a real PITA, I really disliked when I had one, but it does have audio output.

Sorry if I misunderstood the question, but that dongle sits on a TV HDMI port. So its audio gets transmitted to that TV, which can then be fed to Phonak streamer (yes, highly recommended) or sent to your via standard Bluetooth?

I checked this out a while back. If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, there is an option for audio output to BT headphones.

However, any reports I saw identified a lag between on screen lip movement and audio receipt at the ears. This out of sync issue was considered to be a PITA in reports I’ve seen.

The use of a dedicated device such as a Phonak TV connector is usually reliant on an optical or HDMI link from the sound source to be transmitted onwards to the . This seems to avoid the lip sync issues completely.

If your TV has an optical (toslink) or an HDMI output port there are near zero delay solutions in the $20 - $50 range. I’d need to know your TV make and model number.

Welcome to the community. There is a wealth of information to be found here but you may have to reword your question sometimes. There are also the people who will tell you you are wrong to begin with. Have a thick skin for these people. They may mean well, but they are not in your shoes. Hope you get the assistance you need.

Got it working on 2 different Chromecast Bluetooth TV Dongles, despite being told by 3 Seperate Phonak Customer Svc. Folks that it wasn’t possible! Yeah, It Is Possible! These CS Folks are Not Knowledgeable! There are limitations using it, but it Does work as one Can Pair with the Chromecast device!
