I’ve been wearing aids for about 20 years. This year my insurance said they’d pay towards my new aids, but the aids from the place i had to use were over $4,000. So i went to Costco on Long Island jabra aids were about $2,000 and sounded good. I tried Jabra and Phillips and chose Jabra. The audiologist was the best i’ve encountered. She not only knew hearing and aids, but phones too. She told me there might be a problem with my 3 year old Samsung S8e. There were. She could get it paired and they were great for a day or 2, then go mono from the phone and i couldn’t get both paired. I made weekly visits to get hooked up, and made my feelings known that i saw it as a QC problem. Then, just before Christmas they seem to have found a fix. My aids paired with the app, and i can make the minor adjustments to make the sound perfect. Love them. After about 2 weeks they became unpaired again, but a quick visit to Shirley and i’ve been back solid since. P. S. I had to make several visits to get things right, my experience with most other companies is that most of those visits would have resulted in me being without aids for 2 weeks. I highly recommend Costco and Jabra.
