It’s bluetooth for the later models, touch control is a manual setting in the App, as they have discontinued the actual touch control App for the older models, from memory I’d always see the bluetooth icon flash when opening the app and then say on when connected for , so Rexton can stream and and BLE for the App right?

tenkin I have the Rexton Reach and the latest app in my iphone 14. The phone app can control the aids without bluetooth using sound. by control I mean volume, tone, direction and programs with bluetooth turned off, I just tried it again. I only need bluetooth for streaming and phone calls and to see battery level. Tap control for phone calls also requires bluetooth

Yes definitely, tone control can be used, I think it’s a switch in the settings, I mean you can use Bluetooth to do this as well right.

Are any of you are using a android phone to control a Rexton Reach by sound? Is the sound control only an Apple thing?
