this is just incredible, one of those things you never think you need but when it arrives you wonder why nobody did this before.

I'd like to be able to filter the search and include only currently active members.
Also, I haven't found any in the list for like mine who include their current hearing aids on their page; that is what I am most interested in seeing.

No one found yet like my hearing
There were quite a few people listed here with similar loss: https://forum.hearingtracker.com/hearing?similar=cvkemp

that is an outstanding idea.
Just earlier today I was thinking about trying to somehow find folks on hear that are currently using the Oticon reach or the Oticon intent or the Phillips 9050...and then trying to find those with a roughly similar to mine so that I can learn how well they like it.
this is a huge bite of that.
My only comment having just spent only a few minutes looking, some of the folks coming up in my list don't seem to be active, &/or haven't been active in a very long time.... depending on someone's purpose, it may be useful to filter those out of the top of the list....

I know there were a few people that questioned the logic of fully rebuilding our previous forum, which worked fine, but hopefully that is starting to make sense now. All of this would have been very difficult using the old platform!

I updated this page to be much faster and the filtering is clearer now, I think. Let me know what you think! https://forum.hearingtracker.com/hearing/like-me

Thanks, Abram. I'm enjoying browsing these pages.
One thing that probably could improve now: when I click on the next page number, the very bottom of the next page appears, so that I have to scroll up to get to the top. It would be better if the top of the new page appeared instead, if that makes any sense.

I just used this “find hearing peers” out of all the members on the forum only 22 other members have hearing loss like mine. I find this unusual, that not many people have ski slope high frequency loss. I assumed this type of loss would be fairly common, apparently not so on the forum. Interesting.

@AbramBaileyAuD, is it possible to find hearing loss like mine only right ear only, by not taking into account my left ear?
I think I have ski slope and "cookish bitish" pattern in my right ear? 😅
I have in my left ear and in my right.
And I think it would be useful to add what I have in my left ear with CI. This is especially important for CI candidates who look for help before their CI implantation decision.
