Hello, I’m sorry for typos. I’m from Norway, and 28 year old. I have been hard of hearing my whole life, and have a moderate hearing loss.
I had resound LiNX Quattro LS961 for 7 years, they were a big upgrade from analog, and sounded natural. Two years ago I switched to Phonak paradise. I have also used Lumity, and Sphere.
I find the Phonaks to be to high tech, and switching between programs with autosense I believe? It often feel as if individuals are far away or a bit muffled. I was always used with no program shifts, with analogs and resound. So this is a tough adjustment for me.
I now have a delayed proceeding of sound where it feels as my brain treat the spoken word of someone with a delay.I never had this before. When I put on old resound the delay is gone, the sound natural, but speach understanding wprse, which make sense since they are old, and I’m not used to them anymore.
In Phonak the sound does not feel as natural to me. Even though there are huge benefits with them as well; I now can hear from distance for the first time in my life, and when people are soft spoken. Still these don’t sit right with me. I am very tired now trying different adjustments for Phonak. Therefor I want to try to switch to resound again.
Has anyone else here had success with newer resound? If so, which model? And is the sound natural enough for you?
Also I’m wondering if you can sense if it switch between programs automatically?
