Any Oticon Reveal user experience yet?

I am totally new and unexperienced, so take it with a grain of salt...

I've been testing a pair of Oticon DemoFlex hearing aids for a few days now, programmed as Reveal 3.

Before that, I tested Signia Pure Charge&Go 1IX and 7IX. I'm a teacher, so my biggest challenge is understanding speech in noisy classrooms, especially when several students are talking at the same time.

Even the premium Signia 7IX didn't help me as much as I had hoped. It improved speech clarity somewhat, but also made background conversations and other noises much more noticeable.

My first impressions of the Oticon are considerably better. I recently attended a conference, and during dinner in a fairly noisy restaurant, I noticed a clear improvement in speech understanding compared with the Signia 7IX. My own voice also sounds much more natural and comfortable.

I haven't tested the Oticon extensively in a busy classroom yet, which will be the real challenge.

So far, I'm pleasantly surprised that a mid-range Oticon seems to work better for me than a premium Signia.

Oh, and one more thing, streaming quality is ways better with the Oticon Reveal 3 than with both signia.
