I have had Audibel hearing aids for about 10 years. Before I retired my Company covered the cost 100%. I’m now retired on Humana advance plan. They only cover Tru-Hear. Copay is about $700 and the Audibel is about 8K. Big difference Why?

Audibel is just a private label Starkey. They are locked so only Audibel dealers can program them. Being a private label (and franchised) they tend to be more expensive since you can not comparative shop them.

Personally I wouldn’t buy either of those hearing aids. Try to stay with Phonak, Oticon, Resound, Siemens or Starkey.
If those are too expensive try any of the Costco hearing aids. They are all top of the line rebranded hesringbaids.

Audibel is owned by Starkey, they have the same ’s different name. I got my Starkey Omegas 24 ( not a Audibel rebranded ones) from them through TrueHearing which is who my insurance uses for HA’s. The cost was 1900 for my copay True Hearing paid for the rest.
