Auracast in 2025 - 2026: Are Hearing Aid Brands Ready?

the C82 to in input and output device in the Mac settings menu. I suspect that is the step that is being skipped.
Thanks for this tip! I did not see this tip elsewhere re setting to both input as well as output. I will try that!
Well I had high hopes that your tip was the missing link, but I’ve got my M1 Mac sound input and output switched to Avantalk C82, have volume cranked up, took the device off the adapter that came with it and plugged it directly into the Mac, restarted, did the 3 clicks and/or the long hold-down on the Pair button, tried to reselect Avantalk C82 in the dropdown menu on the Mac, and still no sound in my hearing aids! I even shut my phone down no make sure Bluetooth was not interfering or restarting and still no dice!
OTOH, While looking forward to my follow-up Avantree support confer tomorrow with, I believe Phoebe, I have come across an assertion elsewhere, not specifically addressed here, that the M1 Mac is an exception to the positive experiences reported here regarding compatibility with the C82 LEA.
I am wondering whether anyone on this forum knows of a positive Mac experience specifically with an M1 Mac, which is what I have which so far repeatedly refuses to flash green (only blue) to confirm connection to my M1 Mac during an hour-long support Zoom with Jenny, nor during numerous followup on my own since.
Or, OTOH is the blue flash (meaning bluetooth) a notice to me that I need to know more about how to keep Bluetooth suppressed on the Mac? The dropdown menu into which the software installs the Avantalk C82 option is named “Bluetooth.”
