Blind with hearing loss

However, I’m not sure about severity of your hearing loss and I know that posting audiogram could be difficult for you.

Actually there’s no HAs “for blind” people as such, but BTE or RIC types with custom moulds and canal locks, or skeleton mould would stop them from falling out, these types of HAs have buttons, hard to say if disposal or rechargeable would be better, only you would know this I’m guessing.

Hi. #Depends on your hearing loss of course and what you feel comfortable with, but I do like the Phonak Virto R. the app is fully accessible, you can link the aids with the Roger ecosystem which is really good for channeling your computer directly into them for one thing, and the fact they sit inside your ears with the mics pointed out means you should have good spacial awareness.

Hearing aids in general sound rubbish though, so you will have to deal with that fact unfortunately. Your brain will kind of get used to it, but it will take a while. Message me if you want to discuss the virtos more, As I type this to you I have them linked to my computer acting as headphones.
