Costco Glasgow

I purchased aids from Costco Glasgow 5 years ago before Edinburgh hearing center opened. I think I mentioned it in a earlier thread, service was excellent. No reason to believe anything has changed other than maybe a different audiologist. Judging by my past experience I would recommend them along with Edinburgh.

I’d definitely recommend Costco. My first pair of privately bought came from the Glasgow branch in 2022 and it was one of the most thorough tests and discussions about my hearing that I’ve had in 30 years of using hearing aids. Different audiologist now I think, but I’d definitely put Costco above most other chain store clinics in the UK. I’ve been seen by 3 Costco audiologists and they’ve all been great.

Thank you guys. I think I’ll be using Costco. I also tried using to research this and it highly recommended them.
I’m in Balloch and my only concern was the 25 mile drive. I’m 77 and Ok with driving there now, but I’m thinking of the future and having to drive through Glasgow when I get old.
However I just realised I can get a train from Balloch to a station ten minutes walk from Costco if required.
Can you recall if they used (Real Ear Measurement)?

Can you recall if they used REM (Real Ear Measurement)?
Yes they definitely did. Once you have had your hearing test and decided which aids you are going to purchase, its normally around 2 weeks before fitting..
