Costco in Warrenton, Oregon

We recently moved to the Oregon Coast. I’m expecting that when I get my next pair of hearing aids, not for several months yet, but eventually, they will be from Costco. Has anyone had any experience with the audiology department at the Warrenton Costco? I have searched various forums and haven’t found a thing.

My husband and I will be joining Costco very soon, for general purposes, so we will be able to see the audiology department as we walk around, but I am hoping that someone has personal experience with them that they could share.

Noticed this as we are researching new hearing aid tech. We are a few hours away but this is the Costco we shop at. This location is very busy and has a lot of tourists. Usually their tests are a few months out and adjustments are a few weeks out but they have a cancellation list and they have bumped us up a few times. Kind of stinks but when you live in a tourist spot, it is what it is. We have been with them for about 10 years now and wouldn’t dream of paying 6 grand again for hearing aids from the other outfit. They don’t always answer the phone during the day but just leave a message and they call back. Kelly has been at the front counter since last year. She is really on top of things and is a welcome smile on gloomy days. Amanda is just the sweetest as can be and we are so happy she is back from Portland! Bethany is our favorite. She has been there for as long as we have been customers and is top notch- definitely knows her stuff. We have always gone off of their recommendation and within a few adjustments, we’re good to go for years. They’ll give filters and domes for free if you don’t live close but they tell us to come in every 6 months to do maintenance cleanings too, also at no cost.This is seriously the nicest Costco I have ever been to. The checkout people on the checkouts up front are also some of the friendliest Costco people ever. They’re pretty funny. Welcome to the coast!

Thanks so much for your detailed comment about the Warrenton Costco and the staff there. It’s very helpful!

We joined Costco about two weeks ago and everyone there was very friendly and helpful, as you have mentioned. Unfortunately, we went on a Saturday and the audiology area was closed, so we weren’t able to meet the staff.

I’m at 4+ years with my Phonak Paradise 90s, and since I’m retired, I no longer have insurance to pay for my next aids at the clinic. I’m trying to hold out with these until Costco gets whatever iteration of Phonak is next after the current Sennheisers.

Also should mention that my very first hearing aids were purchased at Costco in Portland. After that, I had insurance coverage for them, so I went to a clinic instead.
