I’ve been busy and haven’t been following discussions here lately

but searching for it, nothing came up so I thought I’d ask.

I’m still in my Phonak Marvel M-90’s and so I’m keeping my eye’s open for an eventual update. I reckon I’ll probably go with the Costco Sennheisers for my next pair, but I’d really love to get the next generation tech instead so i’m starting to wonder how far out it might be for Costco to start selling it.

Has been discussed in a couple of threads recently. There is a new Sennheiser Sonite Rise that’s apparently only available in the UK currently. When it will get to the US is anybody’s guess.

Thanks! I searched and read the other conversations here with mention of those Sonite Rise model. OK, so that’s promising

but as I recall it was some time…maybe a year or so…after seeing these initial “rumors” that Costco was going to bring in a Sennheiser model before it started to become available.

So that might mean that it could be some time before these Sonite Rise aids come to a store near me….

Well, I need a new cell phone fairly soon anyway, so maybe I really should consider switching back to iphone and away from Android. It seems like there are more good hearing aid options for iPhone users. Ugh.

I think last time was a somewhat different situation. Costco had ended their relationship with Sonova and did the Sennheisers as a trial in certain locations. After the trial went ok, they brought the Sennheisers to all their locations (at least in the US) This time is kind of odd as the UK is getting the new aids first. Have no idea why or when they might come to the US.

Regarding cell phones. All the other Costco hearing aids should work fine with high end Android phones. I’d stick with Gooogle or Samsung.

The Easy Line phone app now says that the latest update supports the Sonite Rise. So, I would expect them soon.

wait.

The model they are currently selling is the Sonite Rise.

My understanding it’s comparable to Lumity

Are you saying that there is a different model of Sonite Rise that is comparable to Phonak’s Infinio Ultra R?

The current Sennheiser Sonite R is the Lumity generation technology. The just now Sennheiser Sonite Rise is expected to be the Infinity generation. We are not sure about Ultra or Sphere at this time.

There is another thread on this that has more information.
