Is this allowed, and if so, is it recommended? I am especially thinking of using different approaches for music and speech enhancement.

Thank you for the information tenkan! So usually you are stuck with the fitting plan used for speech and have to try to modify that for music. Can you try other plans, for example some people use DSLv5, and if the result is promising determine what is different, and use that as a starting point in modifying the music program in the plan used for speech?

Yes that’s what most of us do, you can try linear as well to try and get that analog “feeling” for music.
