I am trialling my second pair of , Resound’s Vivias. It’s early days but feeling like they’re looking more promising than previous trials. However, I’ve had a very strange experience of going into one high-street shop and getting dizzy, as if I’m walking on a rocking boat. If it’d happened once I’d dismiss it, but I went into the same shop today, and had the same experience, I had to hold onto an aisle! I wear tulip domes and in that moment felt a lot of occlusion/ almost disassociation. This felt very odd and confusing. Is it possible that there are particular frequencies or acoustics or pressures in this one environment that is affecting my HAs, and through them, my vestibular?
(No it’s not April the 1st, I’m not joking!)
