How important is it to get moulds/domes with minimal feedback if the feedback manager cuts out the feedback. Is there a downside to just letting the feedback manager handle it?

Absolutely you want a perfect fit with your molds, you don’t want any leakage if possible, otherwise the feedback management will reduce the overall gains to compensate.
