I recently had carried out on my Oticon . The audiologist also changed the algorithm from VAC+ to .
I have custom moulds with a 1.4 mm vent (I think it’s 1.4).
I commented that there was a slight whistle in my right HA. The audiologist ran the feedback manager. It detected the feedback at 6K.
Does it simply reduce the amplification at that frequency to stop the feedback or is there more to it than that?
Would the music program revert that reduction? I have the standard program, speech in noise, music and lecture programs available. Does anyone know exactly how these modify the behaviour of the HAs?
Finally, does anyone use the Streamer v. 1.3A? I’m getting one for work. Wondered if the external audio was muted, reduced or unchanged when streaming audio.
