On June 4th I ordered a set of Phonak Audeo Infinio 90s. After 5 attempts at getting the Noise in Sphere to work for my hearing loss we decided to swap to Starkey Edge. FitHearing paid for the return of the Phonaks and the delivery of the Starkeys. After 3 weeks with the Starkeys and no better hearing than with my 2 year old KS10s we decided that I should go back to my old hearing aids, the KS10s. I returned the Starkeys on Friday and got a total refund today. Excellent customer service. Everyone involved in my hearing care has stated that my hearing loss is difficult one. This includes 24 years of audiologists in Atlanta, Auburn, Birmingham, Montgomery and online (FitHearing wasn’t the first). Thank you FitHearing.

You have a steep drop at 2000 Hertz but good hearing in your lower frequencies. That brings me to what acoustics or domes were trying with those Spheres?

Their website feels shady. I can’t even find the name or a picture of a single person who works there. How does anyone trust that? I’m not questioning your experience, but man, they could use some help on their website.

Bought my Sphere 90’s from them. Took a long time to get everything sorted out, but that was when the Spheres were first released, so some/much of that problem was probably Phonak. I agree that the customer service people are A+

Wow. Remarkable prices and an extra year’s warranty. I don’t get how they can do it.

I wasn’t aware of the extra year of warranty, but I doubt if that is very expensive. Maybe some of the professionals can weigh in on the cost of warranty repairs as a class in the later years.

More research shows that the director of FitHearing is Stephen Yontz. In the Aspire Audiology website, the audiologist is called Randy Yontz . I think this is what @AbramBaileyAuD wanted to know.

Based on this, it looks like fithearing is the mail-order branch of this audiology office.

I highly appreciate the feedback the OP provided, their prices are very good indeed.

@AbramBaileyAuD Shipping documents for some FitHearing purchases show the shipper as Aspire Hearing and/or Randi Yontz. I understand that FitHearing is owned by a person who is or who’s wife is the chief audiologist and that the sales person is the sister/sister-in-law of one of the owners. An internet search shows that Aspire Hearing (and Ascent Audiology & Hearing) is owned by Dr. Davis Randi Yontz.

I bought a pair of Spheres from FitHearing in March at a very good price. Delivery was very prompt. It turned out that I had made mistakes in my order both in the correct wire length and in the color of the . FitHearing was very prompt in exchanging for the proper devices.
Recently one of the Spheres developed a problem. FitHearing gave me an overnight mailer to ship them directly to Phonak for repair.
All of my experience with FitHearing has been top notch. I wholeheartedly endorse them.
FYI, I do self-programming so I have no experience with their programming support.

I second that.

I continue to have good experiences with their on going support. I am about to send in my 2.5+ year old Lumitys for battery replacement from Phonak with FitHearing’s assistance.

Since I gave FitHearing such a hearty endorsement, I should report a not-so-great experience. Phonak shipped the above mentioned Sphere repair back to FitHearing, which was fine. BUT, we are snowbirds, spending winters in Florida and summers in New England. We were in Florida when I bought the Spheres but in New England when I needed the repair. Yes, you guessed it. Even though I confirmed with them THREE TIMES that they would ship it to New England, it was sent to Florida - to an unoccupied address with no way to retrieve it. To be delivered the first business day after a holiday weekend. So I had no way to contact FitHearing before that box would be on the delivery truck. Truly a stressful weekend. I eventually figured out that if I paid UPS $10, I could delay delivery for a day, giving FitHearing time to change the shipping address. It finally showed up in New England - addressed to a name that barely resembles mine. I still give them high marks, but someone in that office doesn’t have a clue how to do what they promise to do.

I agree, the ladies in customer service are A+ but the people who order, receive and package for delivery are not always A+
