What is the policy on use of AI on the forum?

Direct AI-generated posts are not allowed on this forum (e.g., do not post chunks of text copied and pasted from ChatGPT). Members are welcome to use AI privately as a research or thinking tool, but anything posted here should be written in the member’s own words. When sharing conclusions or insights learned through an AI chat, members should clearly note that AI was one of their sources. Members may also include a link to the underlying AI chat or session for transparency and additional context. Note: This policy is the result of this thread.
