Hi everyone, how are you?
I wanted to ask if anyone has had a similar experience.
On April 19th, when I turned on my hearing aid, it wasn’t working. When I removed it, I noticed that the ear hook was damp, apparently coming from the device side. Luckily, I had a new replacement from my previous Phonak Naída Marvel SP, so I replaced it.
However, that new ear hook lasted less than 24 hours and was damp again. Even when I unscrewed it, there was moisture on the threads. I should mention that the night before, I checked and blew on the earmold as a precaution, and there was no accumulated moisture.
Upon closer inspection of my Phonak Naída Lumity SP, I noticed something strange about the casing, as if it weren’t properly aligned. I compared it to the Marvel, and there’s a clear difference in the finish/assembly (the Marvel feels much more uniform).
The machine is less than a month old (I received it on March 26th) and came with a new mold.
My question is:
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Do you think the warranty should be applied directly, or should I send it to a service center?
Thank you in advance for any comments or experiences you can share.
