Does anyone have experience ordering from www.hearing-shop.com12? I would like to buy a Noahlink device and they have it listed a $150 shipped. I am trying to figure out if they are legitimate or a scam.

My three rules ![]()
(1) web site must have a phone number to call.
(2) Web Site must have a physical address that is not a mailbox . Then Google search the address to see if the place exists or looks reasonable .
(3) web site must show who owns the site .
Check that the web site does not have garbage. For example , look at the web page below in the address you provided .
Facts don’t lie ![]()

I see you can pay using Paypal. Last year I had someone on ebay charge me out of the blue for something. Some sort of crook that somehow found a way to make phony charges to people. Paypal came through fast and gave me back my money. So I would go that route if I was you.

But why go through the hassle of a dispute when the web site looks questionable?
eBay has a Noahlink wireless right now for $169 with eBay purchase guarantee.

The US tariffs have made products from AliExpress significantly more expensive. The cheapest I’ve seen on AliExpress is $137 and the shipping times are now longer than before.

I was also looking at hearing-shop.com1 for a noahlink but the lack of contact details and overall wonky website were too suspicious. Opinions on the best us-based option to avoid long shipping time and tariff uncertainty?

Thanks for all the replies. I was going to go with them but I couldn’t find much info while googling. I thought it might be best to go with some other, more established place. I wanted to get the newer “2” version of the Noahlink, and haven’t been able to find anything that seemed like a pretty good price yet, other than hearing-shop.com1. I see links claiming prices in the $130’s on AliExpress, but then when you go to the site they are more like $200. Ebay was more like $180ish. Neither of those are going to get you any type of real warranty other than if the device doesn’t work when you receive it. I may wait until January and see what prices are like then. I appreciate the responses, and if anyone happens to find a good deal, please pass it on.

Here is one for $135, including shipping and import taxes. Very unlikely you will be able to find it for less than that
(Assuming you are in the USA)

Why? It doesn’t matter which model you get, MK1 or MK2 they both do the same thing.

Just for “future proffing.” I figured the newer 5 version would have a longer usable lifespan than the BT 4 original version.

Can’t see how it’d matter? But not many (if any) MK1 are sold now anyways, I still use my original Airlink2 on everything.

I see you can pay using Paypal…
Unless this has changed relatively recently, it is possible for a scammer to use PayPal and get away with it: If they ship you something, even if it bears no resemblance to what you paid for, you have to go through all the trouble of returning it in order to get a refund. If you bought something fairly inexpensive, you’re likely to find that it’s just not worth the effort and expense. (Anyone know if this scamming method is still in use?)
You may be safer at the $150 level…

You can buy these from AliExpress for below 100 USD…
Indeed - that’s what I did, with a perfectly good result. (I paid slightly more and got the updated version - being one of the cool kids doesn’t come cheap!) I don’t know how current US taxation affects buying from China, though.

Searching this links address using Startpage search engine resulted in multiple businesses have been associated with questionable dealings. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I have decided not to chance it with that site now, as it doesn’t seem to be worth the potential headache. I may decide to get one of the older units at a lower price or wait until the beginning of the new year to see if there are any better prices before purchasing.

You can buy one from amazon for $165.
Thanks. I looked at that one and saw that it is from a seller with two rating reviews, both of which are bad, and it is not shipped by Amazon so you don’t get the standard Amazon coverage. So I will pass on that one.

Actually, you do - Amazon has something called the A-to-Z guarantee that protects you when you purchase items sold and fulfilled by a 3rd party seller (it covers the time delivery and the condition of the product. If something goes wrong, you call amazon, not the third party seller

For what it’s worth, here’s a link to the AliExpress seller I bought from. I can’t promise results, but my unit came quickly, was the real thing, and works. Dunno what shipping/taxes would be to the US, but the base price I’m seeing right now is $131.22. https://he.aliexpress.com/item/1005009523829517.html8
