Has Anyone Switched Permanently to Omnidirectional Mic Mode?

Hi everyone,

I’m curious, has anyone here permanently set their hearing aids to omnidirectional microphone mode?

For me, it seems to work better than the automatic program with directional mics in almost every situation, including speech in noise. I’m using Oticon Real 1s with canal tip ThermoTec molds and 1.4 mm vents, and this setup just seems to deliver more natural, consistent results in daily life.

I’d love to hear if others have had similar experiences or different ones.
