I have a Phonak Audéo Infinio Ultra Sphere 90 paired with my iPhone SE via Bluetooth and the myPhonak app. Normally, the app allows selecting different listening programs depending on the environment (e.g., Restaurant).
However, there’s a program called “Phone calls + mic” that should automatically activate only during calls and deactivate afterward. My ’s, though, keep switching back and forth between the “General” program and “Phone calls + mic” multiple times per minute, even when the iPhone is turned off.
I’ve tried:
-
Resetting the HA’s (15-second button press)
-
Turning Bluetooth off/on
-
Restarting the iPhone
-
Reinstalling the myPhonak app
-
Removing the HA’s from the Bluetooth list
This happened first with my original set of HA’s after a few weeks of normal use, and then immediately with a second set. Given that it occurs with two different HA’s, I doubt it’s a hardware issue. Even with the Iphone switched OFF, the problem remains. As if the HA’s are infected and remain infected, even when bluethooth can’t be found.
Has anyone experienced automatic program switching that persists even without an active phone connection, and is there a known solution?
