I have currently bought the Specsavers Elite non rechargeable hearing aids. Currently on the model with a large earpiece, which is difficult to fit snugly. I enquired re IIE and models, but was told that they don’t have Bluetooth capability. I like to stream videos etc from my Android S21 Ultra phone, so is important to me. I am elderly, wear glasses and have a short hairstyle. Any thoughts on alternatives

Welcome to the forum, sure there’s options you can consider, would be great it you could post your audogram as this would be helpful, your using a type with a mold, so you could consider models, have you got a Costco nearby as they have the best deals in town, and only sell the premium models.

It’s an engineering trade-off: at least until a version of Bluetooth comes out that works on android from powered devices.

If you go iPhone, there’s options on the Starkey side. Not sure if the new Oticon S1 does anything that’s wireless though.

Smaller (iic/cic) aids generally don’t have the communication range/power for full Bluetooth unless you have an intermediate device.
