I have long suffered from hearing loss but am now ready to treat it. I had an opportunity to demo the ReSound Vivia 9’s today at an audiologist in the mall. They programmed them based on my (from another audiologist) and made some quick in-office adjustments. Then I was told I could walk around the mall to see how they work. I was pleasantly surprised overall. He was able to tone down the tinny sound of his own voice and overall ambient noise. However, my own voice and the music playing in the mall were still very tinny. It was so strange. Is this something that I just have to get used to? Or can they further adjust? It was just a quick demo so I did not get or any major adjustments so I am hopeful that, if I order them to trial, they will be able to further refine it. But, keep in mind, I have nothing to compare it to as I have never worn before. Thank you!
