This is the All-Around program that Costco set for me after performing a real-ear measurement.
How should I adjust the gain for the “Hear in Noise” and “Outdoor” programs? There will be two Outdoor programs — one for actual outdoor use, and another “Outdoor” program that I’ll use with Autoscope Adaptive Directionality for front-focus situations, where the microphones are directed toward the front when I’m talking to someone in front of me.
For this front-focus Outdoor program, should I base the gain on the All-Around settings and then make slight fine-tuning adjustments?
Should the gain for the “Hear in Noise” and the outdoor program for real outdoor use be about 3 higher than the All-Around program?
Also, should I use Intelligent Focus for the Hear in Noise program and Omni for the actual outdoor program? Or would you recommend something different?
Thanks
P.S. I added the “Hear in Noise” and “Outdoor” programs in Smart Fit 2.2, and their default gain settings follow the curve shown by the black dotted line in the picture, but that makes the sound very uncomfortable for me.
