Kirkland KS10 Easy Line App update

The Easy Line app updated on my Android phone and I spent most of an hour trying to pair my hearing aids. I got to the Pairing Screen and both aids were recognized and selected. Pairing “may take a few seconds” never stopped trying to pair. The little dots went around in circles forever.
I gave up and uninstalled the app, removed the aids from the Bluetooth recognized devices in Settings/Connections, and restarted my phone.
I selected Easy Line Remote Kirkland in the Google PlayStore and it downloaded “Sonova AG Easy Line Remote”, opened it and started over.
It worked fine.
I have no idea what the problem was.

I got lucky and didn’t even have to re-pair after the update. In my mind what you described is just the nature of tech. It works like it should a great deal of the time but sometimes it just doesn’t. Then it’s time to do a version of “turn it off, turn it back on again.” Glad you got it working again.

This sounds similar to my Android Cochlear Nucleus Smart app update.
The pairing never stopped.
Booting the phone fixed my issue.
