Relax and Treble presets on Easy Line Remote app for KS10

I have the KS10T . When I watch TV I find the speech is sometimes harsh especially with the “S” or “SH” sounds. I usually keep keep my program set for Automatic. When I try to adjust the HA’s I set them to Automatic and the “Relax Setting” found by tapping on the control at the bottom right that has 3 bars and little dots. I cannot find anything in the user manual about the Treble/Relax settings. I also find that if i go to another site on my iphone 12 mini I lose the “Relax” setting. Any info would be appreciated.

I had the sss’s issue and Costco was able to reprogram to limit it but it still happens at times. Seems’ss to have an environmental factor like room shape. I’m going to have Costco try again next week even though it is way better.

Usually the SH sound getting exaggerated is due to the setting being a touch too aggressive in the Target software.

Yes @Raudrive is correct. I also found this issue is resolved once Sound Recover II is lowered slightly. For me, it was only lowered by 1 number but made the world of good.

I was getting very “tinny” and indistinct sound yesterday via the TV Connector, but turning the KS10.0T aids off and on again solved the problem.

Thanks for all you inputs. I am not a person but I will discus this issue with my at Costco. I will suggest input from Raudrive and see what she says. My aids are turned off every night and put into a drier for 30-40 minutes. I set my ’s so they don’t turn on automatically when taken out of the charger.

Not sure how long you’ve had the KS10s. I had that problem when I first got mine. I did nothing and the problem resolved itself over a couple of weeks. I’m not sure it was the sounds being too harsh so much as seeming harsh because I wasn’t used to hearing them. They can be harsh, that’s why I use them with my dogs instead of NO.

I’ve had my ks10 for just under 34 hours, for me it’s dependant on if I tweak the extra treble bass and microphone direction sometimes.if I focus the area to just the front mic the s sounds can be a little sharp but I’m also aware I have to get used to how these sound after 3 months of not much sound old aids broke. I haven’t tweaked with the settings too much I mostly use tc, automatic and steaming.
