Looking for a Resound Remote Control Unit 2 - Sorted Thx

I have a basic Resound , Key 3 (67), supplied through the Hearing Services Program (HSP). When I had it fitted some 2 or 3 years ago, I was not given any choice of models from the many possible models covered by the HSP.

[Quick side note to my fellow Australian, the providers are actually required to show you a variety of eligible HAs. PLUS it is mandatory that they tell you if they work with sales targets, if they are receiving any sales incentivee from the manufacture etc. I only leaned this today unfortunately]

ANYWAY….

The HA I have has no onboard volume control. I realise there is volume control through the app, but I can’t stand having to go get my phone everytime there is a chance in the auditory environment.

I only found out through my own research that there is a remote control available. └⁠|⁠∵⁠|⁠┐⁠♪ Resound Unite 2 Remote Control.

Unfortunately, the retail price is a little prohibitive for me.

Sorry this post is so rambling….

If any one happens to have one of these remote controls in working order that they no longer need, please message me if you’re interested in selling it on.

I was looking at some of America. But it’s a bit hit and miss with postage pricing from America at the moment that I have no idea why sometimes it’s cheap other times they quote hundreds of dollars to post a pencil.

Anyway I had some good luck in that I found one in my local town well city town I don’t know.. And very kindly they gave it to me at a great price. Though I must comment on the particular remote control. I can’t believe it sells for $350 Australian dollars and it basically for the does is allows you to change the volume remotely. Programs can be changed by using the back of the . And fine tuning within those programs has to be done in the app only. And any favourites that are saved accessible except through the app. There’s $350 for less than $20 worth of parts and labour. :thinking:
