Lower MPO values Genie 2, what does it do?

When I set the values lower in Genie 2, e.g. to 99db in the 3-5khz range. Will this affect the output of the receivers in all conditions? Or will it only affect the output in very loud situations when output goes towards 99db? In my case the max gain at 65db is about 16db. And at 80~85db it is about 9db. So will the act any different in normal situations or not? The reason i lowered it, is that I dont like hard sudden noise. Like hard yelling kids. Thx!!

That’s not the way to sort sudden impact noise, as in you don’t want that impacting on your speech comprehension, you’ll probably find in some cases you’ll get clipping as well, Genie2 has “SuddenSound Stabilizer”
