I have a severe hearing loss and have gotten new aids (Signia 7IX) with ear molds.
The 's are great. Problem is the mold. When I first got them, it took a while for my ear to become accustomed to the molds. Some little pain and discomfort, after a while, I didn't notice them. My left ear is no problem. My right one is. Initially it fit OK, but after a month or so of wearing it, I have noticed a lot of ear wax. I wear my HA's all day and at night when I remove them, my right one is sometimes very difficult to remove. The wax seals the mold. During the day, I sometimes have to remove the RIC and mold and clean my ear of the wax. I tried Miracell ProEar on the right side. It helps, with the fit, but not the wax. Never having had molds before, I am not sure what the problem is. Should I have a new mold made for the right?
