I’ve had my Rexton Reach for over a year and each time I take them out of the charger they have been set to the Automatic Program with Volume and Balance settings at the default 0 setting, (which, as I understand it is the intended behavior of the app/HAs)… UNTIL this last week! Suddenly, they are at my last setting, the one they were at when I inserted them in the charger (which has been Television and Balance at about -3). I figured it was the app being balky as mine most of the time is rather unresponsive on my Pixel 8 phone. Most of the time I can poke and the program or whatever won’t change. I can poke Balance and try to get the setting off 0 and it will take me literally a minute to get a response. Many times I’ve done a Force Stop of the Rexton app and/or restarted my Pixel 8 phone to get the app to respond. Those usually get the app to work. Suddenly this week even Force Stop or restarting the phone will not get the app to show Automatic Program and 0 Volume/Balance settings after charging. It’s entirely crazy and figure I’ll talk to the Costco fitters at my local Costco and try to figure out what’s up. I think my next HAs are NOT going to be Rextons. The app is supposed to be good but it drives me nuts a lot of the time.
